Laser Hair Reduction
-
Laser Hair Reduction is a popular cosmetic procedure that uses concentrated laser light to target and reduce unwanted hair on various parts of the body. The hair needs to be dark or contain pigment (it cannot be blonde or gray or white) in order to have a successful treatment. Patients will need multiple sessions but can typically expect a 90% reduction in hair in the treatment zone.
-
Patients may experience slight discomfort during the procedure, but is typically a very tolerable treatment that does not require numbing. There is usually no downtime.
-
Multiple sessions (typically 6-9) are often required for optimal results, as hair grows in cycles.
-
- Avoid tanning and excessive sun exposure as well as spray tans for at least 2 weeks prior to treatment.
- Shaving the treatment area 24 hours before your session is also required.
- Please do not wax or pluck hair within the treatment zone for 2 weeks prior to your appointment.
You can shave in between sessions.
